1st and 2nd graders from Wolf Hill School attend annual "Friend-raiser"

Oceanport 1st and 2nd grade girls enjoy an afternoon "Friend-raiser" at the Shrewsbury Sailing and Yacht Club

The first and second grade girls from Wolf Hill School attended the annual "Friend-raiser" this afternoon at the Shrewsbury Sailing and Yacht Club in Oceanport. The girls look forward to this festive annual tradition with their moms, aunts, or whomever they choose as their "special friend" for the afternoon, which raises money for the PTO.

Chaired again this year by Kelli Whiteman and Fran Weber, the committee decorated the tables in pink and yellow, and the attendees enjoyed fresh fruit, yellow cupcakes, sugar cookies and pink lemonade. The crowd topped off the afternoon doing Zumba outside on the deck overlooking the Shrewsbury River.
