Book Fair, Art Show, Music at Markham - June 6

The Little Silver PTO and Barnes & Noble are hosting their annual Summer Reading Book Fair on Thursday, June 6th from 6:30-8:30 pm. The Book Fair will be located in the Markham Place Media Center. There will be an array of books for sale for all ages and interests. Student Summer Reading selections will be available for purchase, as well as through order forms.  This year, we have asked the the Markham Place teachers to create "Book Wish Lists" if you'd like to buy a book and donate it to a classroom library to inspire more reading during the school year. This is definitely a great way to kick off Summer and get the family ready for some beach reading.

This very same evening, Markham is hosting its annual Art Show and spring music performances. Artwork will be displayed throughout the 1st floor of the school and can be viewed from 6:30-8:30pm. Strings will be playing in the Courtyard at 7pm and the Jazz Band and Chamber Choir take to the Cafetorium stage at 7:30pm.
