Honeybees are hot

The honeybees are hot.  They are flying like crazy, hopefully making lots of honey for themselves and a little extra I can have.  A few thousand of them are hanging on the outside of the hive, they do this when it is too hot inside or they need to clear some space so they can fan the hot air out of the hive.  They will keep the inside of the hive at a steady temperature all year round.  I'm wondering if I should set up a beach umbrella over the two hives that sit in the sun the longest.
