Oceanport Knights U-10 Girls Capture #2 Playoffs Seed on Savannah Notte's Birthday; Finish Regular Season 9-1
Oceanport Knights U-10 Girls Finish Regular Season at 9-1!

On Sunday, Bill Wollman's U-10 Oceanport Knights Girls team turned its game against Shrewsbury into an overtime 20-18 birthday present for shooting guard Savannah Notte.
The U-10 Girls, who finished the regular season at 9-1, wrapped up the victory on Sydney Sears' overtime hoop, the only points scored in the three minute overtime period. Tenacious defense was the name of the game after Sears scored, and this is a team that knows how to play defense.
Grace Treshock, who scored 10% of her teams' points, was thrilled with how the team played, "The U-10 Boys might be undefeated, but we are a lot better looking than they are," offered Treshock. "We really clamped down on defense in the overtime period and we knew that Sydney's basket would be all that we needed. And, most importantly, we looked fabulous the whole entire game."
