Chelsea & Friends Present an Evening of Song & Music to Benefit Lunch Break

On Saturday, June 22, Chelsea Palermo and Friends will present a special evening to benefit Lunch Break, the soup kitchen and pantry that serves the greater Red Bank area.  Ms. Palermo, a graduate of the Red Bank Regional Performing Arts Academy is a well known, gifted Red Bank singer of jazz, pop and standards who has performed at The Count Basie Theatre, Pazzo, McLoone’s restaurants, Red Bank Jazz Festivals and Red Bank Street Life.  Ms. Palermo has also opened for George Benson, Tony Bennett and Chris Botti.

Lunch Break is celebrating 30 years and thriving.  As Gwendolyn Love, Executive Director said, “Ours is a history that spans three decades, deep and wide with compassion, stewardship, efficiency and service.”  And as one of Lunch Break’s more than 2000 dedicated volunteers, Ms. Palermo plans this performance as a fund raising event and a way to give back to her community.
