Asbury Park Fire Department Capt. Robert Fahnholz Jr. was recently awarded Free LASKIK by Dr. Daniel Goldberg of Atlantic Laser Vision Center in Little Silver, NJ.
Dr. Goldberg offered the free vision correction surgery to the person with the most compelling story, from the local fire, police, military and teaching professions.
Mr. Fahnholz, an active father of three, soccer coach, volunteer firefighter and career firefighter for the Asbury Park Fire Department and President of Local 384.
Mr. Fahnholz wanted to see as clearly so he can perform his work duties as best as possible without straining his eyes or experiencing any burning in his eyes. Mr. Fahnholz wished for a lifestyle that was not limited due to his problem with his vision.
