Decapitated Goat, Headless Birds Found In Oceanport

Officials looking at "every possibility," SPCA says.

A tree-trimming crew made a grisly discovery on Myrtle Avenue recently when they found a headless goat and four headless birds in plastic bags in the woods along the roadway, according to app.com.

The crew found the goat and birds’ bodies on late Monday after, said Ross Licitra, chief law enforcement officer for the Monmouth County SPCA.

The decapitated goat was found in one bag and the birds - two chickens and two unidentified birds - were found in another bag, he said.
