Blues in the Park Cajun Cookout at Monmouth Park

The best of Cajun music and food will be available at Monmouth Park on Saturday, when the Blues at the Park Cajun Festival comes to town.

Featured acts on the Main Stage will be the Rebirth Brass Band at 3:30 p.m., Shemekia Copeland at 4 p.m., Robert Cray at 5:15 p.m., and Johnny Lang at 6:45 p.m. The concert is scheduled to end at 8:15 p.m. Tickets to the concert at the main stage are $45, with VIP tickets available for $150.

For the normal $3 Grandstand admission charge, fans can hear local bands play “On the Green” starting at 1:30 p.m. Racetrack attendees will be within hearing range of the Main Stage concert, but cannot access that area without a concert ticket.

Food vendors, located in the area behind the Grandstand, will provide Cajun delicacies all day, available to concert-goers and racetrack patrons.
