Botanical Jewelry

The Little Silver Garden Club was invited by the Oceanport Garden Club to display their botanical jewlery at Borough Hall. All of the pieces were made from dried plant material which has been painted and enameled, cut and twisted, and otherwise manipulated to create brooches and necklaces that look like the real thing. There is lima bean turquoise surrounded by dried pea silver beads on a "leather strap" made from bark. There are seeds of many things turned into beads of many colors. Star anise, cranberries, orange peel, cedar cones, the list is long. Check it out and see if you can determine the "ingredients" used in the creations.
