RBR Ed Foundation Presents its Second Annual “A Day at the Races” on October 15

The Red Bank Regional Educational Foundation (RBREF) presents its second annual “A Day at the Races” on Saturday, October 15, 2011, from noon to 5 pm at Monmouth Park, at 175 Oceanport Avenue in Oceanport. Adults, 21 years and older, are invited to a fabulous day of horse racing, good friends, and great food. The event takes place at the Monmouth Park Reserved Picnic Area.

Tickets are $50 per person which includes admission, racing program & pen, and an amazing gourmet lunch
specially prepared by the RBR Culinary Club under the direction of Chef Pete Roskowinski. Light spirits and soft drinks are included. The event also features a 50-50 and sponsored RBREF race, after which, the 50/50 winner will
have his or her picture taken in the winner’s circle. All proceeds will fund the RBREF mission of providing grants to support a wide range of educational enrichment, much of which is increasingly not included in a fiscally tight
school budget. Tickets are limited (last year’s event sold out) and can be purchased on-line at  www.rbrhs.org/Community/EF/events.aspx
or by contacting RBREF president Paul Noglows at 732-345-0447 or email RBR.Ed.Found@comcast.net.

Over the past two years, the RBREF has funded $60,000 in teacher-requested grants that
have provided a wide range of resources and programs for the students of Red Bank
Regional High School.

RBREF President Paul Noglows comments, “Our ‘Day at the Races’ was so well received last year, that the
attendees asked us to make it an annual event. This fundraiser provides an
opportunity for people to have a great time while supporting our young people.”
