Week-long morning camp for young beginners designed to teach basic violin or piano in a fun, and supportive atmosphere.  Students learn setup and to read and play simple notation, with the goal of playing one or more simple songs by the end of the program.  A great way to explore a new instrument before the school year.

For: String players ages 6-9, no experience needed.    (Instruments available.)    Dates: Weekday mornings, July 9-14.

Students enhance their technical skills during five days of technique  immersion focused on set-up, left and right hands, shifting, vibrato, and playing with others. Context-based instruction and practice culminating in an informal, fun performance.

For: Students ages 10 and up or with at least 2 years of playing, or by recommendation.  Dates: Weekday Mornings, July 9-14
