The Little Silver Classic 5K and Kids Races will held Sun., Oct. 9th, at 9:30 a.m. at Red Bank Regional High School. This fast, flat USATF-certified course promises to attract some of the area’s most competitive runners, as well as families and first-time runners. This year the race will feature D-TAG timing.
Unique to the 5K event is a Kid’s One-mile Fun Run, which starts at 8:45 a.m. Following the 5K race are Kiddie Dashes for children from PreK to 4th grade.
Adding to the festivities will be a Race Expo held inside the RBR track, featuring vendors from area businesses, such as Road Runner Sports, a race sponsor. Other sponsors include Smoothie King and Gianni’s, who will be on hand with free smoothies and pizza, respectively.
