First RBR Charter Athletic Hall of Fame Inductees Selected

After six months of combing through yearbooks and archives, the inaugural list of inductees to the Red Bank Athletic Hall of Fame (HOF) has been selected. The list is comprehensive, including 19 individual inductees, as well as three athletic teams and three coaches/administrators, ranging from the 1920s to 2006. The induction ceremony will take place on Wednesday, October 25 at 7 pm at the Doubletree in Eatontown. Additionally, the charter Red Bank Athletic Hall of Fame class will be introduced to the public on October 27 at half time during the RBR vs RBC football game.

RBR Athletic Director, Del Dal Pra, states of the HOF, “This has the probability of being the best Hall of Fame ever, including four professional NFL players and two professional baseball players. However, since we are going back to the onset of Red Bank High School history, we do not have contact information for ten of the inductees. We are therefore asking for the community’s help in finding them or their descendants and contact us at 732-842-8007 or bucpride@rbrhs.org.”
