Get Your Groove on this Weekend with the Buc Backers

The group will hold its "Night on the Town" event at Tim McLoone's Supper Club in Asbury Park to raise money for the RBR athletic program.

Looking to get out this weekend to an event that combines elegant surroundings, great dance music from the 70s and that funky Asbury vibe -- while raising money for a great cause?

Buc Backers are hosting a fun "Night On The Town" this Saturday evening Feb. 25 at Tim McLoone's Supper Club, 1200 Ocean Ave. (on the Boardwalk) in Asbury Park to raise funds for the high school's athletic program.  

Entertainment and dancing will be provided by The Sirius Orchestra led by Buc Backer and Musical Director Rick Van Loon and featuring Broadway Superstar and Grammy-nominated vocalists David Jennings plus musicians from Tower of Power, Sting, The Rolling Stones, Blood, Sweat and Tears, and Justin Timberlake's Band.

Doors open at 6 p.m. and the music kicks in at 8:30 p.m. with a $20 admission, cash bar and dinner is optional.

For this 70's Dance Party, The Sirius Band will be laying down some of the funkiest dance music known to mankind from artists such as Earth, Wind and Fire, Stevie Wonder, Marvin Gaye, Rick James, James Brown and MORE!
