Please join us at Little Silver Public Library on Monday, June 23 at 7:00 pm as we present an evening with Eileen Moon, author of Legendary Locals of Red Bank. Eileen Moon is an award-winning journalist who has had the privilege of writing about Red Bank and its legendary locals for more than a quarter century.
The new local history book reveals intriguing characters and everyday citizens who have had a lasting impact on the community throughout history. It covers both town greats and unsung heroes like Florence Forgotson Adams, the first woman admitted to the Monmouth County Bar Association.
Lovely vintage images combined with facts and anecdotes retold by Moon reveal a fascinating look at these legendary locals and how they impacted the history of Red Bank.
Moon will have copies of her book to sell. The event is free.
