Little Silver Boy Scout Earns Eagle Scout Rank

Boy Scout Troop 126 has a new Eagle Scout. Brendan Loftus recently earned the accolade, the troop announced.

Troop 126 honored Loftus and fellow scout Richard Kane, who have both served as senior patrol leaders and in the Order of the Arrow, an organization which recognizes Boy Scouts who best exemplify the Scout Oath and Law.

The troop has led several High-Adventure trips, attending the Catskills and Adirondack High Peaks in upstate New York, as well as the Highlands of Iceland — a volcanic desert — the troop said.
