Little Silver Mayor Neff Honored By Chamber Of Commerce

LITTLE SILVER, NJ — Last Wednesday, March 23, Little Silver Mayor Robert Neff was honored by the Eastern Monmouth Area Chamber of Commerce at their 30th annual Spinnaker Awards.

Mayor Neff was given the Public Service award.

"Over the past several years, Little Silver has completed town beautification projects, notably the public park across from the fire station," said the Chamber of Commerce. "In addition, a $60,000 grant was just obtained for Santelle Park. Little Silver continues to have volunteers make improvements to the Parker homestead, a historical parcel of property in the town."

Neff is a lifelong resident of the area, living in Little Silver since 1994. He is a past volunteer leader of the Boys Scouts, a previous member of the Planning and Zoning Board and elected to the town council in 2007.

"The Chamber has honored town Mayors numerous times in the past. The primary reason is that they take the time out of their lives to do what they believe is the best for the community, all the while doing the work in an unpaid capacity."

The dinner was held at the Gramercy at Lakeside Manor in Hazlet, with many businesses, county and state representatives attending to honor the 2022 awardees.
