Cops Searching for Suspect in Little Silver Bank Robbery

Police are looking for a 5-foot-2, 120-pound Asian man wearing a blue hat and a blue shirt who attempted to rob the Wells Fargo at 488 Prospect Avenue in Little Silver Tuesday afternoon, according to a Breaking News Network alert.

The man threatened to use a gun, but he did not show one. He escaped with an unknown amount of money and is driving a gray Toyota Tundra, according to the alert, culled from dispatch communications.

Residents are urged to assist police if they see a man matching the description by calling the Little Silver Police Department at (732) 747-5900.
