Lt. Gov. Guadagno Meets Team Mantrap
New Jersey's no. 2 visited Little Silver Wednesday morning to talk to the national champions of CyberPatriot III about the competition, their program, and opportunities available to them in the state.
Lt. Governor of New Jersey Kim Guadagno made a special visit to Wednesday morning to meet with the national champions of cyberdefense, the Academy of Information Technology's Team Mantrap.
Guadagno met with the students and their teacher, Little Silver's Mandy Galante, in a conference room in the Information Technology wing, where they discussed the CyberPatriot III competition, , and opportunities available to them in the state of New Jersey.
A cyberpatriot in her own right, Guadagno also talked to the students about prosecuting David L. Smith, creator of the "Melissa" computer worm, while she oversaw the New Jersey Division of Criminal Justice from 1998 to 2000.
