No Contest in Little Silver BOE Race

It's three seats for three candidates in November's school board election race in .

Three candidates have filed petitions with the county to run for the (2) three-year terms and the single one-year seat in the November 6 election.

Incumbent members Chris Smith and Lorre Weisman are running for the three-year seats. Michelle Lane, who just stepped down a few weeks ago as the district's PTO president, will run for the one-year unexpired term.

For the single Little Silver seat up for grabs on the Board of Education, incumbent Michael Megill will be on the ballot in November.

Kevin Brennan, who is the current Little Silver board president, will not run again in the fall.
