Not Wearing a Bicycle Helmet?

The NJ bicycle helmet law requires anyone under the age of 17 to wear a helmet. http://www.state.nj.us/transportation/commuter/bike/regulations.shtm. 
There's one law you can't escape, the law of gravity.
As a past semi-professional bicycle racer, I witnessed and was involved in many very horrific accidents.  
I constantly see parents without one while riding with their children.  If you really love and care for them, what's your excuse? It's too hot, doesn't fit/look good, I forgot, I am only going down the street, riding on the sidewalk? Next time you go for a ride, wear it.  A split-second decision can provide a lifetime of results. Fools die for a lack of wisdom.-Proverbs 10:21
