March 21: Following a stop for a motor vehicle violation at Branchport Avenue and Elliot Place, Kevin C. Pettigrew of Belford was arrested for outstanding warrants out of the Monmouth County Sheriff's Dept. and Middletown Township Court. The subject was charged with contempt, failure to appear, and taken to police headquarters and released after posting bail. Ptl. Jake Pascucci was the arresting officer.
March 22: Following a stop for a motor vehicle violation at Port Au Peck and Branchport avenues, Steven M. Zohn of Tinton Falls was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Tinton Falls Court. The subject was charged with contempt, failure to appear, and taken to police headquarters and released after posting bail. Ptl. Jake Pascucci was the arresting officer.

March 22: The Oceanport Detective Bureau is investigating a suspicious brush fire near a parking lot on Oceanport Avenue and Crescent Place that is believed to have been started when a 30-foot by 30-foot section of shrubbery was set on fire. According to the report, the put the fire out within minutes and no damage was caused to surrounding properties.

The , in an attempt to greatly reduce the overall speeds at which motorists travel at through the borough, have begun a speeding enforcement initiative throughout the borough, targeting numerous streets. The initiative will be an ongoing effort to ensure the safety of the motoring and pedestrian traffic within the borough.
