Oceanport Woman Facing Drug Use Charges

Colts Neck police found a number of items indicating drug use in motor vehicle.

Colts Neck police recently charged an Oceanport woman with a variety of drug charges after they found drug paraphernalia and evidence of drug use in her motor vehicle, according to the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office.

Kelly H. Burke, 29, Monmouth Road, was arrested on Jan. 29 in Colts Neck. Police found 24 empty glassine packets used to store heroin, four plastic bottle caps, including one cap with residue, a shoelace used as a tourniquet, and a Suboxone tablet.

She was charged with possession with intent to use a hypodermic syringe, possession of Suboxone and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Prosecutor’s Office.
