Officials Issue Coastal Flood Warning For Little Silver Amid Blizzard
The nor'easter's powerful winds make the chances of moderate coastal, bay and lagoon flooding a significant possibility, officials say

A coastal flood watch for coastal counties in New Jersey has been upgraded to a warning, officials are warning residents, with high tide Tuesday morning being particularly troublesome.
In addition to the heavy snowfall, the oncoming nor’easter will be packing winds of 20 to 30 mph, with gusts to 50 mph, officials said. That makes conditions very favorable for moderate tidal or coastal flooding, the warning says.
Bay front and lagoon residents should take the necessary precautions NOW to protect property prior to the high tide early Tuesday morning. Do not park cars in areas that typically flood during coastal storms. Also, secure all outside items and take down flags.
