Point Road Orchestra Plays "Can Can"
Little Silver's fourth grade orchestra played traditional songs to a packed house on Thursday, June 2.
Fourth grade students in the Orchestra played for family and friends at their annual spring concert on Thursday, June 2.
Point Road School students are given the opportunity to take up an instrument in fourth grade. The orchestra is taught by music teacher Ms. Jennifer Brush, who comes to Point Road in the afternoons to teach the students.
The orchestra, which features both violin and cello, played a variety of songs, including French folk song "Lightly Row" and "Ode to Joy" by Beethoven.
