RBR VPA Vocal Music Major Takes First Place in the Monmouth Civic Chorus Scholarship Program
Dannielle Wolf of Shrewsbury will be recognized at the Monmouth Civic Chorus June 14 concert at The Red Bank Charter School

Red Bank Regional High School (RBR) senior Dannielle Wolf of Shrewsbury has had an amazing high school career in the RBR Visual & Performing Arts Academy (VPA) as a vocal major. Her amazing talent and accomplishments will be recognized at the Monmouth Civic Chorus June 14 concert at The Red Bank Charter School in Red Bank as their First Place scholarship winner.
Dannielle began her performance career at Shrewsbury elementary school where she took leading roles in most musical productions for three years. She knew early that she found her niche and was thrilled upon her acceptance to RBR’s prestigious VPA as a voice major.
She states of that decision, “Getting into the RBR VPA was one of the most pivotal moments in my life as it gave me so many opportunities I never would have had.”

Her participation in the RBR Concert and Chamber choirs have allowed her to perform at Carnegie Hall (twice) at Epcot in Disney World, at the Music in the Parks competitions in Hershey Park, and on the Count Basie stage for the Frank Sinatra Bash.
Her years at RBR brought her two leading roles in major RBR performances as Orfeo in the opera Orfeo ed Euridice in 2016 and as Marsinah in Kismet, which was presented this past spring. Dannielle was named to the All Shore Chorus all four years at RBR. She made the All State Treble Choir in 2015 and the All State Mixed Choir in both 2015 and 2016. She was also named to the All State Opera Chorus in 2016. She was awarded the New Jersey All Shore Chorus Scholarship in 2017 and took second place last year in the NJ NATS Doriz Lentz Festival of Singing. (She took fourth place in the same competition in 2015.)

She has been an active member in her community performing at the Night of Future Broadway Stars to support Covenant House. She participated with Relay for Life all four years of high school and performed with her fellow RBR VPA performers in the student-run Bring Hit traveling minstrel program entertaining at area nursing homes and senior citizen residences since 2012.
Her RBR voice teacher Kris Zook states of his student, “Dannielle has contributed to our program in many ways over her time at RBR. Whether in a starring role of the opera or musical, serving as President of the Choir and the record label, or representing RBR at local, regional and statewide competitions and workshops, Dannielle has always acted with poise and professionalism. It comes as no shock that she earned this wonderful scholarship from the Monmouth Civic Chorus. I look forward to a bright career in the arts from this young lady”
Dannielle will attend Eastman School of Music in Rochester NY next year and plans to major in applied music for vocal performance.
She states of her career plans, “I hope to pursue classical music in opera, choir or teaching. I would like to perform as it is my life’s passion.”
