Red Bank Regional High School Commercial Art Majors Present “Outside the Lines”

The Guild of Creative Art located in Shrewsbury is the venue for six very talented young artists from the Red Bank Regional High School Visual and Performing Arts Academy.

“Outside the Lines” showcased the tremendous artistic talent of six Red Bank Regional High School seniors and students of the school's Visual and Performing Arts Academy (VPA) on Friday, April 1. 

Presented by Jessica Cresanti-Daknis, Andrea Squassi, Kelly Conley, Kelly McWatters, Chelsea Moore, Hong Yang and their instructor Claudia O’Connor, "Outside the Lines" was held at The Guild of Creative Art in Shrewsbury. 

Hong Yang was awarded the prestigious “Mary Sheean” award for her piece “Words of Wisdom”, done in marker.  Mary Sheean was a founding member and instructor at the Guild of Creative Art.

Kelly McWatters was awarded a $100 gift certificate by Steve McMillion from Red Bank Frameworks for her piece “Covered Bridge” done in watercolors.  The piece was purchased that evening during the opening.

The show will run at the Guild of Creative Art located at 620 Broad Street in Shrewsbury through the April 13.

The Guild of Creative Art is open Monday to Friday from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.,  Thursday to 7 p.m., and Saturday it is open from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
