Residents Invited to Meet the New RBR Superintendent
Dr. Louis Moore will be at RBR on June 15, from 7 to 8 pm. He assumes the leadership of RBR on July 1.
The Red Bank Regional Board of Education would like to invite the residents of its sending school districts of Little Silver, Red Bank and Shrewsbury to meet the school district’s new superintendent, Dr. Louis Moore. Dr. Moore takes the helm of the Red Bank Regional (RBR) School District on July 1. A special meet-and-greet event will take place on Wednesday, June 15, at 7 to 8 pm in the RBR commons. RBR is located at 101 Ridge Road in Little Silver.
A little background on Dr. Moore:
Dr. Moore earned his Masters in United States history from the University of Virginia and began his career as a social studies teacher at Ridgewood High School. He later pursued a career in educational administration in several school districts in Northern New Jersey. He earned his Ph.D. in history from his alma mater, Rutgers University, in 1999. Dr. Moore has served as the Principal of Ramapo High School (Ramapo Indian Hills Regional High School District), Franklin Lakes, NJ, since 2007. He has had several articles on history and education published in various publications including the Congressional Quarterly Press and Principal Leadership.
