'Scivention Convention' a Huge Success at Point Road School
Students at Point Road School displayed a huge variety of experiments and inventions at the inaugural Scivention Convention on June 10.
The first ever Scivention Convention was held at Point Road School on Thursday night. Students from 1st through 4th grade presented either an experiment or invention. After several months of working on the projects they were judged for various attributes such as having a defined hypothesis, clear procedures and presentation of data. Judging by the enthusiastic response of both students and parents, the Scivention Convention was a huge success.
