Sunday Night Little Silve Gazebo Concert

Bring your family and friends. Spread your  picnic  on the Markham Place gazebo lawn and enjoy some of the best blues music at the Jersey Shore as The Chuck Lambert Band returns to Little Silver. The concert, sponsored by the rec committee,  starts at 7:00pm this Sunday, August 4.

Joining the band for this Sunday's concert will be vocalist, Susan Haugenes,  who is a long time Little Silver resident. Chuck and Susan have collaborated together on several musical projects over the past 7 years and now perform together as  "A Cool Blues Duo" with a range of music that covers blues, jazz, classic rock and folk.

 Across the tri-state area the Chuck Lambert Band is acknowledged by music critics and fans alike as being one of the hottest blues bands on the Jersey Shore music scene.

 While drawing upon the influences of many Blues genres, such as Chicago and Texas-style blues and Kansas City jump, this powerhouse blues band  also injects an original perspective into their performances. Playing the blues for over 40 years,  Chuck Lambert complements his fiery guitar playing with compelling vocals. Chuck delivers string after string of blues "bullets," but he can also sound as soft as an acoustic 12-string guitar. The band has been one of the headliners at every major blues festival in the  state. 

The next concert will be on Sunday , August 18 featuring the big band sound of the John Luckenbil Pops Band.
