TELL US: What Should Open at Monmouth Park?

What would you like to see included in a proposed $100 million redevelopment project at the racetrack?

Earlier this week, the Asbury Park Press reported that plans were in the works to position as a year-round destination by upping the entertainment quotient with shops, restaurants and even an indoor water park.

According to the article, the proposed $100 million redevelopment project for the racetrack -- which recently switched management hands from the state to the New Jersey Thoroughbred Horsemen's Association -- could begin within the year pending land use approvals.

Some of the ideas being kicked about for the project include a movie theater, retail space, restaurants, miniature golf and an indoor water park in hopes of driving traffic, and dollars, to the racetrack.
