When a sales guy from the Asbury Park Press walked in my office a few weeks ago, I was sure he was trying to sell me ad space. I think the first words out of my mouth were: “I’m not interested.” The man had a puzzled look on his face, and then smiled as he reassured me that he was not there to sell me anything. He handed me a sheet of paper and said “I’m here to present your certificate. You were voted one the best chiropractors in Monmouth County.”
He went on to explain that I won the Asbury Park Press Reader’s Choice Award for one of the best chiropractors in Monmouth County. I couldn’t help but get this huge cheesy smile on my face. The point of this blog is not to brag about my award, but to express my deep gratitude to everyone who voted for me this year. I honestly had no idea that there even was such a thing as the Asbury Park Press Reader’s Choice Award. And I certainly did not ask anyone to vote for me. The type of practice I run is one where people feel at home. Every once in a while I will cook dinner and bring it into office for all the patients. Or I will have patient appreciation days just to say thank you my patients for caring about their health. I take an interest in the lives of my patients, because I want them to know that I truly care about them.
I do not have a large flashy practice with all the bells and whistles. I run a one-man show in a nice, clean, home-like office where patients are happy to come after a long day of work – or in the morning before they start their day. I offer real, hands-on chiropractic adjustments – and that’s all you will find in this office. I educate my patients on what it means to be truly healthy. I answer their questions and guide them as much as I can. I am a family man with a beautiful wife and three awesome little boys. And I am truly honored to be named one of Monmouth County’s best chiropractors. Thanks to everyone who voted for me!
