Fall is a wonderful time of year in New Jersey--a time for harvesting and enjoying delicious fruits such as apples, pumpkins and cranberries. Please join us at the Little Silver Library on Saturday, October 26 at 2:00 pm, as we present a free program, The Harvest Season.
We will welcome food historian, educator and tea specialist, Judith Krall-Russo, who will speak to us about how our forefathers prepared for the long winter ahead while celebrating the harvest season. Ms. Krall-Russo has studied the rich history of homegrown foods and will share her knowledge by telling stories brimming with humor and surprising detail that will not only entertain but help us to appreciate our New Jersey "cuisine."
Refreshments will be served.
