This Mother's Day, Change a Mother's Life

A Little Silver doctor is raising money to build a maternity clinic for the women of Sierra Leone to help save the lives of countless mothers and children.

A group of local moms gathered at the Rumson home of Jean Lee on Thursday to support the efforts of Little Silver's Dr. Nina Seigelstein, who is spearheading an effort to build a maternity clinic in Sierra Leone to serve countless mothers and children.

In Honor of Mother’s Day On Mother’s Day, we shower our mothers with cards, flowers and gifts.  This Mother’s Day you have a chance to do something extraordinary-by donating to One Women’s Health.  With your donation you actively contribute to the building of a Maternity Ward at Holy Spirit Hospital in Makeni-and ultimately save the life of many mothers and their children.

Contribute to Maternal Health and Safety we’ve seen the tragic consequences of a lack of access to a proper obstetrical facility over and over again, --young women with ruptured uteri hemorrhaging and close to death, their infants already dead…women with debilitating obstetrical fistulas from prolonged labors…pregnant women septic and dying from infection.
