What is a Relay?
Relay For Life is a fun-filled overnight event (although participants need not stay overnight). It is designed to celebrate cancer survivors and to raise funds for the research, programs, and services of the American Cancer Society. The Two Rivers Relay For Life focuses on bringing together the communities of Red Bank, Shrewsbury, Little Silver, Fair Haven, Rumson, Oceanport, Sea Bright, and Monmouth Beach - although anyone from any community is welcome!

Why Relay?
People Relay for many reasons. Primarily, people want to join the fight against cancer through celebration, remembrance, and fighting back. But other reasons could include: to get to know others in your community; to experience a great volunteer opportunity; to gain community service hours; or to strengthen resumes or college applications.
