
Little Silver Clean House Rummage Sale
The Little Silver Clean House Rummage Sale will be held at the Women's Club on Saturday, April 9 from 8 a.m. until 2 p.m. Everything should be dropped off at the Women's Club on Friday, April 8 between 9 a.m. and 8 p.m.
A volunteer meeting will be held on Monday, March 21 at 3:15 p.m. in the Point Road School Library.

Kitchen Tour
Ten homes will be participating in this year's Kitchen Tour, which will be held on Friday, May 13 from 9:30 a.m until 3 p.m. The tour will kick off at the Women's Club.
The Kitchen Tour is a self-guided tour to ten homes decorated by local interior designers and serving foods from the area's top Chefs. After the tour is over, there will be a "The Kitchen is Closed" cocktail party from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at an eleventh home.
The tour price is $40 ($45 day of), the cocktail party is $65, and both the tour and party cost $75.
There are also opportunities for sponsors, corporate underwriters, and journal advertising.

Cookbook
The LSPTO Cookbook has gone to print! Holding 900 recipes, the user-friendly book contains color photographs and will be sold for $25. The cookbook has been reorganized since the last edition and now is sectioned off by restaurants, holidays, gluten-free, allergies, etc.
Point Road School Art Show
The Point Road School Art Show will be held on Thursday, March 24 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m. The entire school becomes a showcase for the Point Road students' artwork.
The committee is looking for volunteers! The hallways at PRS have slowly been transforming but more help is needed. Anyone can show up between 11 a.m. and 12 p.m. from now until March 24 to help put together the exhibit.
Also, any and all art supplies would be appreciated in putting together the show. Items can be dropped off at the Point Road School Lobby or 10 Laurel Drive. For more information please contact the Point Road Art Show PTO Chairs Margaret Spencer and Michele Davis.
Different Learners Day
Different Learners Day will be held on Thursday, March 31. This program offers the third grade students to experience the five different ways to process information (physical, hearing, vision, learning, and developmental) at separate stations, and how each impacts a persons life.

Point Road School Book Fair
The Point Road School Book Fair begins on Monday, April 25 and ends Friday, April 29. "Family Night" of the Book fair will be held on Wednesday, April 27 from 7 p.m. until 9 p.m. "Family Night" will consist of guest readers and shopping with your children.
All of the proceeds from the Book Fair go towards the PRS library.
Courtyards
The next meeting discussing refurbishment of the Markham and Point Road courtyards will be on March 28 at 3 p.m. The PTO has fully funded the initiative to convert these outdoor spaces into engaging learning areas for the students, and is always looking for volunteers.
Kelly Van Sickle and Christen McMahon are the MPS Courtyard chairs, and Wendy Whittle and Katie Gotterup are the PRS Courtyard chairs.
Community Outreach
Aluminum can flip-tops are being collected for the Ronald McDonald house this month, which can be dropped off at Point Road School. Boxtops for Education are also still being collected at each school.
