UPDATE: Three Persons Shot In Long Branch On Wednesday Night

One in stable condition, two other men have non life-threatening injuries.

A 26-year-old Long Branch man is in stable condition at an area hospital after he was and two other men were shot shortly after 9 p.m. Wednesday night, Long Branch police said.

Police responded to the 100 block of Coleman Avenue at 9:11 p.m. on a report of shots being fired. They found the 26-year-old man on the sidewalk, police said.

The police department was later contacted by a different hospital reporting that two gunshot victims, a 30-year-old Eatontown man and a 47-year-old Long Branch man, had arrived at the Emergency Department with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
