Gov. Chris Christie, appearing in Belmar on Wednesday, told a man who was critical of his handling of the Superstorm Sandy recovery to “sit down and shut up.”

Christie was appearing in Belmar to recognize the second anniversary of the storm that devastated much of New Jersey’s beaches.
