Funded by a grant from the U.S. Small Business Administration, the WCEC’s We’re Storming Back program continues with the two-hour customer service training session, which focuses on defining customer service and applying customer service skills to various customer and workplace situations. The workshop will help small business owners and their employees who interact directly with the public on a daily basis to sharpen their skills and learn best practices, to ensure that visitors enjoy an outstanding experience and return often to the New Jersey shore.
“More than seven months after Hurricane Sandy tore our shore apart, local businesses in Monmouth County are continuing to rebuild and prepare for the summer season,” said Penni Nafus, Executive Director of the WCEC. “We want small businesses to know that resources are available at no cost to them to help in their recovery and provide them with the tools for continued, long-term success.”
The WCEC and Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce are encouraging all business owners to take advantage of this unique program, by registering their employees to participate in the interactive customer service training session. Business owners can register staff members through the Greater Monmouth Chamber of Commerce at (732) 462-3030 or www.greatermonmouthchamber.com.
The WCEC’s “We’re Storming Back” Hurricane Sandy Disaster Relief Program provides free workshops, training, and resources to New Jersey businesses affected by Hurricane Sandy to help them to recover and thrive in this all-important summer season. The WCEC is helping small businesses storm back from Sandy through three key training programs: Customer Service Training, Planning for Future Storms, and One-on-One Business Consultations.
