LIVINGSTON, NJ — Livingston firefighters battled a car fire that took place near a local home on Monday, authorities say.
Firefighters responded to the 10-block of Lafayette Drive around noon to find a 2015 GMC Acadia engulfed in flames. The vehicle was located about 30 feet away from the nearby home, according to Livingston Fire Chief Chris Mullin.
Firefighters extinguished the flames before they spread to the residence. No injuries were reported, authorities said.
