LIVINGSTON, NJ — Get ready for some summer fun in Livingston.
The Livingston Recreation and Senior Services Department recently announced its 2026 “Summer Nights at the Oval” lineup of Wednesday evening events. The list of activities this year includes art events in June, night concerts in July and movie nights in August (see below).

ART NIGHTS
This summer’s events kicked off last week with a “Chalk the Walk” family sidewalk art event at the Oval on Robert Harp Drive in partnership with the Arts Council of Livingston.
Here are some more events that will take place at Livingston Memorial Park & Oval:
Wednesday, June 10 (6 to 8 p.m.): Asian Cultural Showcase – Come out and enjoy dance and music with friends and neighbors. Student and adult groups from our Asian and Indian communities will be represented. Admission is free, and food trucks will be available.
Wednesday, June 17 (6 to 8 p.m.): Livingston Makers Fest - This family-friendly festival celebrates the Maker Movement, showcasing science, technology, engineering, art and math (STEAM). It is a gathering of curious individuals who enjoy learning and sharing their knowledge with others. Hands-on participation is encouraged.
Wednesday, June 24 (6 to 8 p.m.): Livingston Symphony Orchestra - This event will be held indoors at Heritage Middle School, 20 Foxcroft Drive. Conductor Anthony Lagruth will provide a musical program suitable for all ages. Come join us for a wonderful evening.
CONCERT NIGHTS
A series of free concerts will take place at the Gazebo in Memorial Park throughout July. Concerts start at 7 p.m.

Wednesday, July 8 (Suit & Mai Tai - Yacht That Rocks) – This high-energy, seven-piece band puts a fresh, electrifying spin on yacht rock, blending smooth ‘70s and ‘80s classics with powerful vocals, rich harmonies, and rock-driven intensity to create a crowd-igniting, full-production experience.
Wednesday, July 15 (The Cliffs) - Home to New Jersey’s most versatile 8-piece cover band, The Cliffs deliver high-energy, down-to-earth fun with exceptional professionalism for any special event.
Wednesday, July 22 (Action Park) - A high-energy, full-costumed tribute that recreates the wild, neon MTV era with iconic hits, retro visuals, and immersive, over-the-top performances inspired by New Jersey’s legendary Action Park.
Wednesday, July 29 (The Wag) - A dynamic, four-piece pop-rock band from New Jersey known for catchy originals, rich harmonies, and engaging performances, delivering fun, family-friendly shows backed by 25 years of experience and national touring credits.
MOVIE NIGHTS
A series of free movie nights will take place at the Gazebo in Memorial Park throughout July. Movies begin at sundown.
