According to the Livingston Fire Department, the incident took place at Eisenhower Parkway and South Orange Avenue on July 14.
When Livingston firefighters arrived at the scene, they found the cab of the truck "fully involved" in flames. Firefighters set up a hose line and battled the blaze, with a Nutley HazMat crew and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection later arrived at the scene.
Photos from the scene show a tractor trailer bearing a "Maersk" logo engulfed in flames. The vehicle was left in a charred heap after the fire.
