LIVINGSTON, NJ — The Arc of Essex County, a Livingston-based nonprofit that empowers people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, will hold its annual "Uncorked & Uncapped" fundraising event on Thursday, Oct. 1.
This year's fundraiser will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. at The Hanover Manor in East Hanover. The event will include unlimited tastings featuring food, wine, beer, spirits, cocktails and other beverages. Guests will enjoy three hours of unlimited tastings, along with live music and an opportunity to connect with members of the local community. Tickets are $100, and can be purchased online here.
Here's what to expect, organizers said:
"This year's culinary lineup offers something for every palate, including barbecue favorites, Italian specialties, Ethiopian cuisine, and a variety of other flavorful offerings from vendors across the region. Attendees can also indulge in an array of desserts, including baked goods, pastries, gelato, custom ice cream sandwiches and more. In addition to the food selections, guests will have the opportunity to sample a wide range of beverages, including wines, sangrias, craft beers, spirits, cocktails, smoothies and juices. The event also features a virtual auction showcasing a variety of unique prizes and experiences. Bidding is currently open and will conclude during the event. Community members do not need to attend Uncorked & Uncapped to participate in most auction offerings, and those interested in bidding can visit ArcAuction.com to view available items and place their bids.
