Join team Monmouth Medical Center as the Colon Cancer Alliance and local partners in a 5K fundraising run/walk raise funds for local prevention efforts, research initiatives and patient support services of colorectal cancer. Help celebrate and create a supportive community for survivors of colorectal cancer and their families, caregivers and others impacted by this disease and encourage people to get screened for colorectal cancer. Participants are encouraged but not required to draw attention to their bottoms – and colorectal cancer – by running in their underwear. This event will take place at the Great Lawn at Pier Village in Long Branch. Register online at www.undy5000.org.
