3,000 SUPPORTERS WILL MAKE HUMAN LINK TO SUPPORT THOSE WITH CANCER

Monmouth County High School Students are asking the entire community to join them in wearing pink

Monmouth County High School Students are asking the entire community to join them in wearing pink and creating a human chain from Jersey Shore Hospital to Mary’s Place by the Sea in Ocean Grove on October 25th at 7am. “We need 3,000 people to make a 2.1 mile chain, no running, no walking, no sponsorships this is just doing what you can to stand up and support all fighting cancer,” Mr. Richard W. Allen the Principal of Neptune HS said of the event. “I personally know the families that have created Mary’s Place and how they have always supported our school and community. Many of our students volunteer at Mary’s Place and they are always very kind to them. It’s time for us to stand up to show our support for Mary’s Place.”

Mayor of Neptune Township, Kevin McMillan will be showing his support along with the Police Department of Neptune. “My wife is a breast cancer survivor and I know how Mary’s Place provides solace for not only the physical but the emotional issues associated with this dreadful disease.”

Unexcelled Fire Company, Soccer Teams, Cheerleaders, Pier Leaders, Student Council, Scholar Athletes, Neptune Police Department and more are already signed up to attend. Birth to 104 are asked to come join hands to make the chain.
