Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm

ABDOMINAL AORTIC ANEURYSM 
Tuesday, July 8 from 11:15 a.m. to noon 
A ruptured abdominal aortic aneurysm can cause life-threatening bleeding, but many do not know what this is. An abdominal aortic aneurysm is an enlarged area in the lower part of the major blood vessel that supplies blood to the body. During this program, Mark Hirko, MD, board-certified vascular surgeon and Chairman of the Department of Surgery at Monmouth Medical Center, will discuss symptoms, risk factors, diagnosis and treatment options. This program, for those ages 60 and older, takes place at the Howell Senior Center located at 251 Preventorium Road in Howell. No membership necessary but registration is required by calling 732-938-4500 ext. 2554. Free.
