Brain Injury Basics Workshop at HealthSouth Rehab Sept. 21

The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey will hold a Brain Injury Basics Workshop at the HealthSouth Rehab Hospital on Sept. 21. from 6-8pm.

The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey (BIANJ) is holding a free educational session entitled Brain Injury Basics on Monday, September 21 from 6-8 pm at the HealthSouth Rehabilitation Hospital, 2 Centre Plaza, Tinton Falls, NJ 07724.

Brain Injury Basics provides an overview and information on:

  • Brain injury, including definitions and the rate of incidence
  • Effects of brain injury on families, including the stages of grief family members experience
  • Cognitive, physical, and emotional consequences of brain injury
  • Strategies, tips, and available resources families and caregivers can utilize
