West Side Christian Academy (WSCA) in partnership with Monmouth University will be presenting the AFRICAN AMERICAN READ-IN on Monday, February 2 at Monmouth University’s Rebecca Stafford Student Center from 9:45 AM - 2:45 PM
This is a “Come and Go Event” held upstairs in the Anacon Conference Room.
The African American Read-In focuses attention on literacy
and celebrates African-American authors and their works.
Readers from Monmouth University and the surrounding community,
including Lorraine Stone, The WisdomKeeper,
will read from selected works of African-American authors and their works throughout the day.
There will be crafts for students to do while they are listening to the reading. Monmouth University is located at 400 Cedar Avenue in West Long Branch
