• Sherrill Signs Reproductive and Gender-Affirming Care Protections into Law (mercerme.com) — Long Branch residents are represented in a major new state law expanding protections for reproductive and gender-affirming health care, which Gov. Mikie Sherrill just signed. The measure, backed on the Assembly floor by Long Branch Democrat Luanne Peterpaul, strengthens legal shields for patients and providers, especially those facing threats or coming from restrictive states, and sets New Jersey apart from federal policies under President Trump.
