LONG BRANCH, NJ — There will be an in-person forum for the Long Branch school board candidates Oct. 6 at the Portuguese Club on Broadway, but before that there will be a virtual forum.
The virtual forum will be held over Zoom on Sept. 24. It is hosted by the Monmouth County League of Women Voters.
It will be held at 7 p.m. You have to register in advance and you may do so at: bit.ly/LWVLongBranch.
Questions may be submitted during the registration process or by email at lwvforum2026@gmail.com by putting "Long Branch Boe" in the subject line.
Questions should be submitted by September 17 to be considered for the forum. A trained League moderator who does not live in Long Branch will be leading the forum and asking the questions.

The Oct. 6 in-person forum is hosted by the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Guild of Greater Long Branch, a civic group. That forum will be held from 6-8 p.m. Oct. 6 at the Portuguese Club of Long Branch, located at 191 Broadway.
